The proposal to include this\u00a0requirement\u00a0was based on a study that\u00a0showed increased\u00a0temperatures in\u00a0conduits on rooftops in direct\u00a0sunlight.\u00a0However, there remained\u00a0unanswered\u00a0questions for the\u00a0Southern Nevada Chapter of\u00a0IAEI; they live\u00a0with extreme temperatures, and yet\u00a0installers and inspectors have not seen evidence\u00a0of\u00a0failure related to rooftop installations.
